Walking home I passed a pub. The aftermath of the game was playing on the TV. I peeked through a window to try and see how it had ended. A grizzled and pissed off Irish pub-goer was smoking nearby
Me: So. How did it end?
Pub-goer: (with a bitter smile) Tampa Bay won. The Sox. Are out.
Me: ooooh. That. Well. Have a good night.
Pub-goer: If you can.
